QS1 EMV

Hey guys! I'm not sure if anyone has requested their chip card through chat, but if you have been told they cannot do that and you have to wait until you receive it through the mail you have been told a lie. The first guy I chatted with told me this and was clicking on the usual generic script. Tried again and "bob" verified my address/email address and said it will be 4-6 before I receive it. Go bob!

I just went online and requested a new card under the request new card link. It came very quickly.

That is good to know. My DW requested hers via chat and they said it is not available yet!!

My QS1 (opened March 13) is a chip card.

Well the card image on line has to show the chip card image. If it doesn't then you will just get another card like the one you have now

Just requested a replacement QS1 card online and I should get it within 4-6 days. My account page shows the new EMV card image.

I'm still waiting for my online account to reflect the change to EMV card so I can request a replacement. Getting tired of waiting though :-P

Good to know But I will wait it out on my own as Cap1 QS is my magic BT card with access check offers that I simply cannot resist ..lol... and not paying any interest that card is in SD mode again.

CSR's can be mistaken and misinformed with any company. Don't just assume that they're lying if they give you incorrect information. Lying by definiition requires intent. While some may lie some just don't know any better.

I'm about to do this but my card is damaged. Got a new image card just over a week ago and already the magnetic strip isn't reading. Ouality cards we have here!
