I have a Wells Fargo Visa Platinum. I called Wells Fargo to try and convert it to the Wells Fargo Cash Back Visa Signature. They wouldn't let me do it. I'm a little confused as my Platinum has a $20,000 limit. They apparently will only do a PC when they offer it to you. I still love you you Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo is an interesting bank to say the least. Unfortunately, I am blacklisted from the bank.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've cleared all my blacklist now (i.e. CITI, Chase and Capital One).

You don't have to convert it to the cash back, just come into the branch and have one of the bankers "add" the rewards program to it and it becomes a cash back card

No, my ultimate goal is to amass credit. The pc is secondary. And I did apply for a different card this time and just got the platinum so I'm not going to decline the credit from Wells Fargo who has been very generous to me. This platinum card is Aldo different than my first platinum card from Wells Fargo too.
