I have a friend who flys frontier a lot. Not too sure about her credit score but she asked me about this card. I know she's an AU on her husbands Chase Freedom but she wanted to start earning points for flights.

I haven't seen any reviews on this card? Anyone have it?

Just a FYI...I'm fighting with them over the bonus miles. I opened the card in March when I noticed the spend $500 and get 40,000 miles offer (0% balance transfer was a nice perk too). I'm at the end of my 90 days and have spent over $500, but less than $1000 and they're claiming the promo was to spend $1000. I still have a screen shot of the original offer. I've had Barclay for a while and I have to say I was really happy with them up until right now.

And, yes, I paid the $69 annual fee. So, I'd just say beware.

Frontier is kinda crappy. even with the 19$ one way fares, the return flight is sometimes way expensive. I've checked when they had 19$ fares and the rt ticket cost ends up being like $250. I'll stick to AA.

southwest is the best low cost carrier because of the companion pass, hands down.

She's not really into flying other airlines..she's hard headed but it's her money not mine. I've always flown delta or AA.

They use the freedom for everything and she just told me that they have 600 dollars worth of points. She did not know Chase would cut her a check for them..she said she'll use those for flights.

I used to have the no fee version of the card. Sadly, I hardly got a chance to use it. Literally one week after I got it, Frontier made an announcement that they would no longer fly in to/out of the two airports closest to me. I kept the card for about a year before I rolled the CL into my Aviator card.
