Soon I will get my third statement.
When should I ask for CLI and for how much I should ask?

My initial limit is 300$

With your third statement, it is common to see an AUTO-CLI.

I'd wait until 6 months and then hit them up in CHAT and ask for a CLI. Some people go sooner I suppose but I wait 6 months

My best luck getting a CLI was to let a balance report on four statements. I then paid off the balance by the due date. I have only used the CLI button and went from a $700 store card to my $8000 Upgraded mastercard. No matter if you call GECRB Credit solutions, Chat or CLI button it is a SP. YMMV always.

how upgrade to mastercard works? Does they start reporting like new card or?

You can try the CLI button every month but your chances of a CLI are slim to non and your denial will more then likely say not enough experience at current level. If you don't report a balance on each of four statement your chances also go down. By paying off balance by due date you avoid interest. An upgrade to Mastercard is by invitation only and is considered a new trade line. Calling GECRB credit solutions from backdoor numbers or using chat some have gotten better results than using the CLI button in a shorter length of time getting a CLI.

Walmart is a tricky beast.. what's holding me back is the collection on my Transunion. Same with both my busey cards. But you can try the credit limit increase option. I do it monthly after my statement cuts myself. it's just a soft pull no big deal

I thought Walmart (being Synchrony) was known for CLI's after the 4th statement, not the third?
