What are the most inquiries you can have and still get approved?

I already have a good idea about this question, but thought that I would throw it out there to see what everyone else's experience has been?

It also depends on the credit card company and/or the specific product you're applying for. Some are hyper-sensitive to inquiries, others not so much.

well apparently for store cards...EQ 80+, EX 60+, TU 60+...

Do as I say, not as I do though LOL..Im much better at giving proper advice, but not taking it myself, LOL

Also, depends on the person and their overall credit profile..

I got approved for a UMPE from chase with 43TU(with a chass marriott following week requriing a closure of a 1k saphh card but getting 4k more credit to get to a 5k approval) and monday 33 on EX for a platnium card

Are you trying to catch CreditAddict? I am guessing you no longer take a hit on new inquiries or new accounts? Does it even affect your score when you get a new account?

I'm amazed that people can get approved with so many inquiries... I'm particularly interested if people can still get approved by lenders (U.S. Bank, BoA, LFS, etc) that pull the secondary bureaus like ARS/SageStream-IDA who compile inquiries across TU, EX, and EQ.

Also, I can't imagine how unpleasant a recon call with any bank would be... Is it possible to still be instantly approved with so many inquiries?
