    <description>&lt;P&gt;I sent a e-mail a week and a half ago and didn't get a response back. So I gave the EO office a call on monday and spoke to the lady and told here my concern on cli and apr. She took my request and today I woke up to a cli increase on all my quicksilvers total of 3 cards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I sent the Capital One EO a very nice email two days ago, requesting CLI's on both of my cards. I have yet to receive a response. Should I just call them instead?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here's the email I sent:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Hello Capital One!&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I've been with the Capital One family for about 10 months now. I appreciate the company extending credit to me, and use both of my Capital One cards on a regular basis. I have several other credit cards that I can use, but I prefer to purchase with my Capital One card when I can because of the great cash back no-hassle rewards.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I started with a Platinum card, and a couple of months later applied for a Quicksilver One card. Recently I have upgraded my Platinum card into a Quicksilver One card, so I'm earning cash back with both now- something I'm very happy about.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The only trouble I have with my cards are their very low limits. I started both cards in the Credit Steps program, and both limits are only $500. I have to make several large payments every month to keep my credit under the limit, and I have to be very careful about staying below 30% utilization before my statements generate. Honestly it's a bit of a pain to make sure I have enough available credit, and I pay the bill often enough to keep my balances low.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I am respectfully requesting to have my card limits raised to $2000 each. This will allow me to charge the amounts I need, without having to make several payments every month.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I would greatly appreciate a followup to this email.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I think you just need to hang in there. &amp;nbsp;Average response time&amp;nbsp;seems to be around 3-5 days for Capital One EO.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Person that was assigned my complaint (her words, not mine) went on vacation!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Worked with a very nice girl. She asked me my income, rent, and what CLI's I'd like to see, and sent it to an underwriter. She was even nice enough to include a note about the recently added collection I've been fighting. She sent the information off to an underwriter, who would be making the decision in 3-5 business days, and send a letter with my results.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If approved, I'll see the CLI's before that letter arrives &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I emailed the ceo of capitalone richard fairbanks and got a call the next day from someone in EO. She too did a manual review of my CLI request and submitted it. This was submitted Friday and I haven't heard from them about my increase. I spoke to them again yesterday and they said it is still under review.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck to you and hopefully you get it!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm curious to know what your actual utililization was(how much you put through the card itself, not what was reported at statement time)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I got a Cap 1 card (not a big believer in using credit until recent years even though I had a solid understanding and managed things responsibly; just was more of a mattress stuffer) and was entered into credit steps with an initial limit of $300. I made multiple payments per month but always paying before the statement date.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After six months I got a $2000 CLI. I wasn't expecting that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That was five months ago.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I still use&amp;nbsp;the card quite a bit and pay in full each month; I reently did ask for a further increase (which would actually keep me using thier card more than anyof the others I have) but was shot down due to the relatively recent increase of 2k.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Google Capital One Ceo and e-mail it to him. My request was denied due to credit being too new, too many recent accounts, and not enough established credit history.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With 2 week old accounts that is too short of history. You probably need to wait 4 months and just hit the cli button.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The eo email approach works best and it can take 5 to 7 business days to get a reponse, the eo email will call u but not like boa's next day turn around. Also even though the eo may say call us again when u need something, they have only been helpful / appeased me when i wrote the dear ceo email. Whole process can take 2 weeks.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I sent a e-mail a week and a half ago and didn't get a response back. So I gave the EO office a call on monday and spoke to the lady and told here my concern on cli and apr. She took my request and today I woke up to a cli increase on all my quicksilvers total of 3 cards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
