Amex - So dang slow on sending cards

As some of you might I recently got approved for the HHonors this last monday and was hoping for it for this weekend, I know that is pushing it.. Wonder why they don't offer rush delivery for non-charge cards, being revolvers. I am about to head out to dinner/drinks tonight and will be around 300 dollars could of used it towards spend bonus and 5x..

ya I know #thirdworldproblems... Would of been nice to get nearly half of spend out of way though since I got to spend that cash anyways tonight.. guess it is the CSP.

Anyone have luck ever getting a non CC, being a revolver from Amex expedited.. Not myself.

They sent my SimplyCash that I was approved for on the 24th by two day air on the 26th. Of course, getting it out that quick meant that I needed to do the chat thing to get a new card ordered with my ancient MSD on it.

I feel your pain. I need to book a flight like NOW and I was hoping my Amex PRG would've been here so I could get the 3X miles. If I wait, the cost of the flight will increase day by day. I know it.

I got approved on a Friday night and got the card on Sunday morning . That was a while ago idk if they still do overnight delivery .

I got approved on May 12 and didn't get my card until around the 26th I think. Slow....

If it was 05/25, that was a holiday. Would not help timely dellivery. Hope you get it tomorrow.

Memorial Day probably caused some of your delay. It sucks they don't offer expedited delivery, but it is what it is. I imagine it will come on Monday. I'm sure you'll find some spend to put on it

No Drappping and spent way to much money last night would of been nice to help meet spend, but it is what it is. Still curious why they typically do it on CC and not revlovers..

I app'd for my Plat on Wednesday, had it in my hands on Friday. When they approved me they said it had been Rush Approved.

Yep charge cards are rush approved where their Revolvers are not.. Annoying, but it is what it is. Congrats on yourself getting it so quickly!

Congrats. CC on your new card. just realized you got another Amex. wow. This is why im on the fence. Really would like the everyday. as im gonna cancel my green card in October.

and Getting pressure from the BBVA card. but would love a citi invitation without actually pulling the trigger from a cold app. Congrats again.
