AMEX PRG signup bonus for current cardholders

There was a topic about whether or not AMEX will allow signup bonus for current AMEX cardholders who have not had the PRG in the past.

I initiated a chat session with AMEX and asked if I would still qualify for the 50k MR points for the PRG.

Answer: Yes, I will qualify.

Applied and was approved. Will pay for an item tonight over $1k and see if they will credit the 50k MR points.

Has anyone else asked Amex about this?

You won't have a problem getting the points

Did you have the offer? Apply incognito mode? That offer eludes me unless incognito model and not to hot on the AF especially since backdating is gone

Applied incognito. Made sure I saved all the screens and terms of the 50k

I’m a current AMEX cardholder and I was able to apply for the PRG with the 50k link. I met spend before my first statement cut and I’m still waiting for the MR’S to be added, on my statement it shows pending but won’t become available until my second statement closes. Congrats on your approval.

I applied via the 50k link as well but didn't get an instant approval. I did get approval email the next morning though. Will I still get the 50k bonus? I can't find anything in the terms that came with the card.

It should be whatever you signed up for. Did you save your application terms of agreement and what not?

I always screen print my applications just in case if th CCC decides to change signup bonus.
