How do people have the QS MC?

I have a QS and it's a Visa, but I've seen pics on google where people are flashing their QS MC. I've also heard some people mention it on this board also? I shop at my local Sam's and they don't accept Visa, so how can I convert mine to a MC? How did you guys get your MC? Can I just request a conversion through chat?

Usually it's a product change from Quicksilver One.

Mine was a PC from the Platinum. It was a credit steps card which are MC.

Mine was a PC from their Journey card, which is a credit steps card. Anyone ever converted their QS Visa to a MC? I'm gonna hit up their chat once I get home.

Cap One will not convert a Visa to a Mastercard.

It's the QuickSilver One that is the MC and it has a annual fee of 39.00 per year. Most do a pc to get the fee taken off. They may tell you to apply for the QS1, because it is a step down from what you have.

yep, the same with me. Mine was a pc from the platinum mc. I was offered to either upgrade to the venture or to the QS. I chose the QS for the cash back. I wouldn't use the venture miles.

I have 3 Quicksilvers (2 Mastercards & 1 Visa).

1 MC is an upgrade from a Platinum.

1 MC is an upgrade from a Quicksilver One.

My QS Visa is an upgrade from a Journey.

Mine was the "No Hassle" rewards card, 2nd card I appled for post-BK. It was converted to the QS, but I still have the original green card.

Correct. Started as QS1. $500 limit. After steps. $3500 limit to Regular QS. no AF. Then $5k. upgraded again to world edition. No AF. same as if Visa. with signature version.

Mine was an PC from the Platinum card. Got it to $5000 and had it converted into a World Master Card.

Only issue is, as I've stated in other posts, it seems that there is not as much luv given to the QS MC in terms of CLIs. I could be wrong, but mine has been at $5000 for over a year, and even when I put close to $20,000 in a three month and PIF their reason for a CLI denial is "not enough usage of current credit line".

I could have written the first line myself. My hopes were that if I PC'd it from Platinum (from a few other things prior to that) that it might get un-frozen and get the CLI's etc. that others seem to get. I won't hold my breath now though. (Card FINALLY came today).

Mine went from HSBC Secured Card > HSBC Unsecured card > Cap1 Platinum > Cap1 QS1 MC > Cap1 QS MC.

If they started out as MC and then you PC, it stays MC. As for my path:

Household Bank MC --> Cap One Platinum MC --> Quicksilver One MC --> Quicksilver MC

You have to have an AMEX Centurion reporting for at least 2 years before they will trust you with a Quicksilver MasterCard.

jk...I had the Platinum MC, and then just asked for a product change to "the new quicksilver card", and when it came it was a Mastercard version...thats all.
