Chase Ultimate Rewards Question

With the points I am earning from my CSP and Freedom card, I know I can transfer these points 1:1 to United to use for airline tickets.

Now, if I was to sign up for the Chase United Explorer card in the future too (hopefully when the 50,000 bonus offer starts back up again) could I pool these points together with my Chase UR?

Because I have estimated I will have roughly 80,000 UR points in 3-4 months and I know I only need 120,000 for 2 roundtrip tickets to Scotland. It seems to good to be true though.

Most definitely you can combine the two. Also, that 50K offer is around pretty much all the time if you look on your United page. I've been getting that same offer longer before it was showing on the Chase site. Enjoy your future trip to Scotland

Indeed my co-worked just did that.. Had 60k UR points on his CSP.. Wanted to head to England, not quite enough points.. Applied for the Unitet as well.. Transferred some of his UR's to United and away he went on his trip with quite a bit of UR's to spare.

You can pool them in your MileagePlus account. You cannot, however, pool them in your UR accounts. The UMPE directly accrues miles in your MP account. You just have to transfer the UR points.

Not at all. I've used intro offers on the UMPE and multiple UR cards to redeem for travel on United.
