I want the freedom card so badly!! Ex 671 Tu 678 Eq 672. Unpaid judgement 6+ years. 150 lates 2011 TU only. I have 8 cards (6 rebuilders) since August 2013. Just got discover it and Barclay rewards last month. CK very good odds (I'm taking that with a grain of salt) discover was listed poor and Barclays fair had a 645 when I apped for both. Was denied Amex blue in April with a 645 score. Judgement was a top reason followed by until which was 29% now down to 12%. Loan to high 2200 left just got it in November.

What do you think? A pipe dream?? 😳☺️

Thanks for the advice. Last year my cs was around 520, so those rebuilder cards were a huge help. 110% on time payments. Just scared because of the new "too many accounts in 2 years" policy that people are getting denied for. Like I said they are all rebuilders except discover and Barclays.

How many accounts have you opened in two years?

I've done 4 apps with Chase. They have pulled TU&EX for ALL four! State: PA.

I have 10 new accounts in under a year, and like 4-12 inquiries depending on which bureau, I rarely see a difference when I get a new inquiry. I think that's probably because I've reached some point where adding another doesn't really have a noticeable impact, but personally I don't think inquiries are that THAT big of a deal. I believe my recent denials are more caused by lack of history and new accounts, more-so than the inquiries.

Basically if you already have some inquiries then I don't think another makes much difference, just my opinion though.

Well to be honest . The only ones approved for the freedom with sub 660 scores are those that have accounts with chase. Checking. Savings direct deposit. As others stated. Even upper 700s denied. It would be in your best interest to wait. Their pre approval is accurate for sure. Although verification is a pita. Best results wait until then. Or minimum until your scores. Over 660.

They are over 670. No offers on pre approval for anything. I used the pre qual site for discover and had the it card offered. That is why I jumped on it. A week later I was reading how discover pre qual site is useless. You can put any info in it and will be "pre qualified" glad I didn't know that before hand because I would have steered clear.
