CapOne VentureOne to Quicksilver - Success

I was finally able to switch my Capone VentureOne card to Quicksilver today
if there is anyone who wants to do the same I think offer is available in California and maybe other states as well
I called EO directly because I was asking for Credit Line Increase on my account but regular CS will be able to do the same

I had this card for about 5-7 years
It was originally CapOne Orbits card but it got discontinued and it became VentureOne
they never approved me for CLI on this account for some reason

Was able to do it by chat this weekend as well... will update signature when time permits but ventureone to qs worked for me by chat.

I'm ultimately curious about Venture to Quicksilver.

Somehow I think Citi will try to trump the QS as they know that is out there in the Visa version.. One can hope as competition is healthy! Maybe DC in a visa version or something similiar for Costco?

They are competing with the Sams MC, not QS.

They are competing with the Sams MC, not QS.

Just saying since citi won the contract hopefully something beats out the QS for costco in visa form that ciit offers... a new card should be coming out for Costco one would think by citi...

I'm interested in seeing data points for this as well. I remember reading a post where someone stated that Nixon checked with more than 1 CSR before applying for the Venture card to verify that he would be able to PC it to a Quicksilver after a year. Apparently the CSRs confirmed that this was doable. However, I thought I've also read where Cap One was making this more difficult to do.

Next year, it will be interesting to see what happens when the AF comes due for all of these recent Venture owners (myself included). Personally, I can't justify the AF and the account will either get PC'd (to QS or VentureOne) or closed. Not a biggie for me because I already have another QS.
