Chase Credit Limit

I have 3 CHASE cards... $5000 Saphire Preferrred, $5000 Freedom and $1000 Slate... I used SLATE for a balance transfer from one of my old starter Cap1 cards and now that it is paid off, I am not sure what to do with it... I see no use for a $1000 card now that the intro offer expired. Limit is too low to be useful.

I am thinking of moving the $1000 CL to one of my other cards and closing SLATE. I was denied a CLI.

If I transfer the CL and close it, will I be able to re-apply for another SLATE at some point down the road?

To answer your question, you can reapply at a later time.

I wouldn't close it at leave it at the moment as Chase is getting more strict.. Only 1k, mise well leave it and appease Chase.. Keep it open 2 years at least imo.

No af,free EX fico....keep it around.

I'm dealing with the exact same thing with Citi. $1000 limit but I get EQ fico. Needless to say it never sees the light of day.

Answered above but yes. As for whether or not to close it, that's your call to make based on your needs/wants/priorities despite the response above urging you to keep it.
