Fidelity hasn't reported yet

And oddly enough, I'm not getting much use from it. What I wanted to use it for has been nicked since most of the places don't take Amex. Can I transfer the limit to my BofA Cash? Will it still report as a closed account after the fact?

It takes a bit to report. Sometimes it can be quick though. Soooooo, so much for getting approved for this one eh

If you are requesting to reallocate CLs (and/or eventually close the Fidelity CC) it will be a HP - it will reflect on your CRs as closed once it reports. BOA treats reallocations/transfers as a CLI hence the HP. There is no way to get around the HP unless you have a stellar profile and/or great history/relationship with BOA/Fidelity/ML.

I didn't get a HP when I transferred my last CL to a BofA card, but it may be because I took a HP for a CLI a few days before

Correct, since typically any HP is good for 30 days.
