Hello, Credit Card community.

I have a question for you all. I've spent a lot of time reading through the "Rebuilding Your Credit" forum and it has helped me significantly. So, now that I am at the credit building phase of my plan, I want to ask...

What card could I possibly get with a 600 TU Fico Bankcard and 650 EX & EQ Fico Bankcard scores? I have no CC charge-offs. 2 paid collections, 2 unpaid collections and 2 Capital One Cards, one of which is a secured card. I would like to get one card with a decent limit to pad my utilization.

How old are your negatives and have you tried any of the pre qualifiers? You might qualify for an Amex Charge (depending on what your EX looks like) or Cap1.

Equifax shows 3 years average, the others show 2 years average. These are being kept lower due to student loans.

As for inquiries, EQ and EX show 2 and 6 with TransUnion. Almost every card I have applied for seemed to hit TU. I don't want a ton of hard pulls, I just want one or two decent ones, then let them age for a while.

That's why I'm trying to make them count.

On the upside, I've since gotten a better job that pays 44% more than the job I had at that time.

Honestly you'd probably be doing yourself more of a favor going on a goodwill campaign with US Bank. I'm working on them for my Business account and will just keep sending the letter off until they respond, but they seem to be a tough one with forgiveness.

With a 7 month old negative I can't think of any decent limit lenders and you already have two Cap1 cards.
