Just a general question, does anyone know if the savingstar secured amex can help me get in the door with the prime amex cards? Thank You

No it won't help other then overall helping to improve your credit. Entirely two different banks and even if you had a non secured Amex from Savingstar it would not assist in getting an Amex from Centurion Bank (again except that it helps your credit picture).
