Barclays Balance Transfers

I was just wondering if they offer balance transfer promotions on co-branded cards? We have a few big purchases coming up and I would like to use an offer if possible. I know Discover and BOA offer them a lot but not sure about other lenders. We also have a Citi AA card too.

Sallie Mae and the Aviator cards do/did. Also the arrival line. Most of them do.

You can look in your log in area online and/or call them. Sometimes there are backroom BTs that they do not post.

We have the Hawaiian Airlines card. There was an offer when he opened the card but didn't really need it at the time. If there is no offer on your do they find you one like BOA does?

I originally had basic BOA Americard before I PC'd to Travel Rewards. I never took advantage of the offer so I called them and found an offer for me. They said they can "find" offers for you based your balances, credit, etc. When I did my first balance transfer ever she brought up a balance on another card that I was going to pay off, I asked her how she seen that. She said she could see all my balances.

I have an Barcaly Apple Card that I mainly use to transfer balances---typically I get 12 months no interest on them.

If you are not recieveing BT offers from Barclays just give them a call and ask them to start recieivng them.

They send you a few check every few months that you can do BT too.

They used to send me BT checks regularly for my Rewards MC, I used a few of them. I haven't got one in a couple years now. I wanted a BT last spring to pay off a Prosper loan, while logged into the account the only BT offer was 22.9% APR & 3% BT fee. So I opened an NFL card, 15 mo 0% BT with $100 spend bonus to offset the 3% BT fee. CS took an 18 pt hit for the 60% util on the card, but that's OK, not apping for anything until next year and while it's tight I've budgeted to pay $500/mo for the rest of the year to get util down to just under 20% on the card, well under10% overall.

From my experience, they don't.

I have their US Airways card (switching to Aviator) and their LL Bean card, neither has offered any special balance transfer deals. They do have online balance transfers but there's a fee and there's interest.

My Cap One cards, on the other hand, offer no-fee balance transfers all the time... one gives me a choice of no-fee or no-interest.

Mine says 24.9% w/3%...oouchhh....

Yes! Currently using my Aviator Red as my BT card. They also offer a 1% transfer fee which is awesome!

When they go idle they email you offers.

Much better than capital one, where co branded cards each have their own sorry login and page you have to keep straight
