Do you keep cancelled cards linked to your online portal?

I have an AMEX Corporate Gold tied to my American Express account, and a cancelled Citi Aadvantage card to my Citi account. I have the option to remove both, but haven't yet.

Do people tend to remove these from online management? Any reason I should keep it tied to my account?

I have a cancelled QS1 and Barclay's Juniper. I'd like to remove them, but I don't see any way to do it.

I keep them linked for a couple of months after closing them in the event that a charge slips through (still possible even though the account is "closed"), or if there's a small interest charge that appears after paying off the card. There have been a few stories on here of people closing cards and seeing 30 day lates appearing on their credit reports because they didn't realize a small balance appeared after paying it off.

i closed my chase sapphire and after 3-5 months they took it off themselves . i agree letting them sta on in case something like a charge showing up
