Yup, lots of us jumped on the BP card when it went from Chase to GE/Sync. Biggest benefit of the BP Visa is the gas rebate which is good for a year, I currently have $1.48 off a gal up to 20 gal or a slightly smaller statement credit. I don;'t care about the APR, because no one should ever carry a balance on a gas card as it wipes out any savings.

I have gotten two mailers and an email from Synchrony about the BP Visa. They tell me I'm pre-approved and the minimum sl will be 1000. I looked at the apr on it and its 26.99%. I just tear them up after looking at the apr. Has anyone gotten the offer and taken them up on it?

Good advice up there.

Although I do at times carry a balance, it's on zero interest or low interest cards. I too have the BP card when it moved to Synch and use it for rewards, not to carry a balance.

I have yet to get a reply from CS how the $0.25/gal discount is applied AND none of my receipts specify number of gallons purchased. Nothing shows as "Rewards" at the pump either.

WTH?
