topic Sears authorize user in Credit Cards

Sears authorize user

I was added as an authorize user on a Sears card and at first they did not ask for my social. After I brought it up the customer service person added my social. Is this the propper way to be added as an authorize user or did we do something wrong?

I used to work at Sears and unless they have a different system than the one we had. You could not add an AU in the store. Only online or by calling. They didn't process an application for you did they?

We did not go in the store we did it on the phone. She had her card over 4 years.

If you did over phone then you should be good. If they added your SSN to the card then there is a decent chance it will report.
