Easiest CC thing I've ever done...Cap1 rewards

Curious one night if I could combine all my cash and points on all my 5 cap1 cards, so I poked arounds the "rewards" site...saw, "transfer rewards to another card", so i clicked one of my Venture cards, and transferred all points to my other Venture card.....done. Did the same with the other 3 QS cards...transferred all cash to my MC.....done..

Logged out, logged back in...all cash now on one QS, and all points now on one Venture..

easy peasy.......wonder if I can do the same now on my Barclays cards...mmmm

That's not anything new..that's been a feature for awhile. Although it's been reported that they will be taking it away temporarily. Some people have gotten noticed on their accounts.

I didn't know about this feature. Can I transfer the 14 cents from my closed QS1 to my QS?

Yep, I can report it as well. From an email I received on 6/22:

As of September 15, 2015, the following redemption options and features will change:

•	If you gave someone else permission to redeem rewards on your behalf, they will no longer be able to do so as of September 15, 2015. You’ll need to redeem your own rewards after that time.
•	The ability to transfer rewards from one Capital One® account to another will be unavailable; however, we know this feature is important to our customers and will be working to bring it back at a later date.

Remember, if you’d like to use the above features, please do so before September 15, 2015. We look forward to improving your rewards experience in the future!

Interesting!!!! I wonder if this is any precusor to the the combining of limits that they say is coming....would make sense actually, that they close this feature down awhile during the transition,if it ever happens!! So, I guess if anyone wants to transfer their rewardss to another one of their cards, the better do it before then.

I think you might be right Pizza.. If they posted it is coming on FB the combining of limits, it is most likely coming,, although as stated I will believe it when I see it. The only thing I have an issue with them doing this is alot of their revenue is generated off AF's on sub-prime cards being a person can have 2 thus if they allow combining limits then that revenue would go down to one if the AF isn't already waived... That is the reason I am kinda meh if they are going to do it. With that said they way they have changed in the last year has quite honestly been amazing and I think they want to take on the big boys being Chase/Amex/Citi etc... Everything is leading me to believe they want not only serve the sub-prime market, but the prime market as well. Be interesting to see how this plays out, but they have been getting better and better each month. Heck one day I might even apply for one of their "Prime" cards if they keep this up and move my limits from my two 4.5k QS's.

It would definitely make it 'worth it' if they were to start allowing us to move/combine our limits!

musiclover, i am glad i helped you with an early morning giggle. also, do you realize you out your BofA card in your signature twice? or do you have two with the exact same limits?
