    <description>&lt;P&gt;At least they're telling you that they're replacing your card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With me and my Sallie Mae, it seems like they did it a week ago. Once I logged in online, I got curious and checked the detail of individual transactions. The card number (last 4) is difference since 24 June.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the meanwhile my SO's Amazon transactions have gone through and they're showing as billed under my new card. Couple of petrol pump transactions went through but on Monday, one was declined. I tried other cards and didn't pay much heed to it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The weird part is that they didn't even tell me they were replacing the cards. Suddenly there are two new cards in my profile which need to be activated, presumably whenever I get the replacements.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sent an SM asking for some explanation.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I logged into my account today to pay off part of my balance and a pop-up message appeared and said there were suspected fraud charges and so they cancelled my card and sent me a new one. Does anyone have any luck with calling them and getting them to reactivate the old card?&amp;nbsp;I'm headed to Africa for 3 weeks and can't get the new card mailed to where I am.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Think I could call and get them to cancel the new card they just shipped and reinstate my old one?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Unfortunately I don't think they would reactivate a canceled card; especially if they suspected fraudulent activity. :/</description>

      <description>Not gonna happen.&lt;BR /&gt;When a card is cancelled, old number lost,nobody can reactivate it for you, especially on suspect of fraud.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The same thing happened to me last month. &amp;nbsp;My card was cancelled because of suspected fraud and they sent me a new card shortly before I was scheduled to leave the country. &amp;nbsp;The thing is, there was nothing on the account to indicate why they suspected fraud. &amp;nbsp;There weren't any fraudulent charges and I wasn't notified of anything. &amp;nbsp;Like you, I didn't know about it until I logged onto my account. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;are you sure it's canceled for sure? because I had smilar problem with my arrival card. First I received a mail about it,&amp;nbsp; it stated that I could use my old card until i activated a new one, I didn't know I received a new card until about 4 weeks later (hidden in junk mail pile), bur during that 4 weeks I could use my old card without any problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I live in a conflict country, so no way to really get a card out here unless someone from work happens to be heading out this way. No idea what could've triggered the fraud alert, but maybe&amp;nbsp;something isn't posted&amp;nbsp;to my account online, yet. I did make a pretty hefty charge for my&amp;nbsp;safari, but that happened weeks ago and I've since paid off 75% of it, so not sure why they would suspect fraud on a charge I've already paid off most of. Who really knows, I've had issues with this card to begin with being on hold and declining international charges.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Looks like I'll only be using my handy dandy CSP for this trip!&amp;nbsp;Thanks for all the insight!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Don't worry, a lot of people got this notice.&amp;nbsp; There apparently was a actual or suspected comprise of information at either Barclay or another major retailer.&amp;nbsp; You're current card will work until you activate the replacement.&amp;nbsp; I got the same thing and called in, before you even get to a person you can an automated message explaining it, and if you need more clarification then continue on with the call.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

She eventually ended up talking to a supervisor who said it was a breach on their end, specificaly the Arrival accounts. I didn't use my card at any irregular places, except at Target in Seattle earlier last month. I generally use it for gas and grocery and my SO uses it for Amazon. That means either Target got hacked again, or one of my grocery stores (Safeway / Whole Foods / Central Market / specialty stores), or one of the gas stations, or, heaven forbid, Amazon (!)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Gas stations and smaller grocery stores seem less likely to be hacked, right?
