Amex 3x CLI...call in or do it online?

Does anybody know the preferred method to request this? My new Amex Everyday card is at home waiting on me and I want to try for the increase upon activating.

Asked for a total limit of $24k, from current 9.3k limit, and got this message:

Your request for a line of credit increase has been submitted.
You will receive a written response within 7-10 days.

What shall I do?

not necessary a denial, I got a 7-10 message when I ask 8K to 20K on my SPG couple weeks ago, show up 20K 5 days later without calling or doing anything.

We can't tell you what you prefer. Whether you call or do it online doesn't change your credit or income so it doesn't have any impact on the CL you'd qualify for.

I requested my increase, but was a week before my 181 days. They told me to try again in 1 week, and it was approved. I thought I read in the past you had to wait 90 days, but I was approved once the 181 passed ( a week after my initial request).

^90 days if denied last increase attempt, 181 days if last increase attempt is approved.
