Venture cli low limit offered!! Should I call EO?

So I requested a Cli on the website and was only offered $500 of course I declined , so I wanted to know have anyone called EO to ask for a different limit?

You need to just give it time and patience. EO is not a magic wand. Besides, the number has been converted to normal CSRs because of overuse.

Please don't call the EO over a low CLI offer. Just be patient, use your card heavy, make large payments, and after time a higher offer should come your way.

Although OP is being more reaspnable, the post reminded me of something I read today about calls to 999, the UK equivalent of 911. The police publish examples of calls they receieve that aren't perhaps everyone's idea of true emergencies: 1) I ordered a hamburger and they gave me a cheeseburger, 2) The sprinkles on a pastry I bought are badly arranged, and 3) the prositute looks NOTHING like she claimed she did.

So a low CLI isn't really what the EO was created for, but of course a lot of us use it that way.

Overuse of the EO is an epidemic on here unfortunately. We are all pretty much guilty at one point or another. But its time to adjust our habits.

If they offered a low CLI, they want to see more time, more history and more usage. Simple as that. Calling higher ups does not avoid this and creates unneeded work for them investigating your case when the reasoning for the low CLI is almost definitely justified.

Just wait, build your history with them and youll be fine. They usually grow over time, especially with the so called prime products.

Nothing with credit is overnight and an EO doesnt erase that fact.

Okay let me ask this question in another way so someone may actually say something helpful, I want to be able to keep a balance on this card since I have 0% APR for about a year. I need the cli so since I wasn't offered what I wanted, I want to know if I should call cap1 since they will ask me what I want then.

I think we were all trying to be helpful. I don't know if Capital One let's you recon CLI requests, but it wouldn't hurt to call and see. You just can't call the EO for it anymore because that number now redirects you to regular customer service.

Well even if you did get a manual credit increase there is no guarantee they will grant it. I can call and ask for a 100k and might still be declined or granted a $500 increase. My point Is even a manual review might not help. Especially if the card is too new.

OP could take advantage of triple pull if their AAOA can handle it and go for a QS then platinum. After all you will be able to combine in 6 anyway, right? I mean yes, its likely the other limits wont be any better but theres still a chance.
