What card did you use today?

Thought it would be fun to see what cards you are using and for what purchases.

Today I went to Lowes and broke in my new Lowes card to purchase some items for a small project on my camper. It was nice seeing the instant 5% discount on the total purchase.

Discover- at kohls. And used kohls coupons for 15%off, and 10 off 50. Got some great deals! And double the cb for department stores!

Freedom for gas 5% and also for some breakfast (even though restaurants was last quarter's category. It's okay.)

Darn it! I already thanked tj once for reminding me that Freedom is gas this quarter. I think I took it out of my wallet even. We'll have too much gas expense for Sallie this month so I need to use Freedom when I get gas (because I'd rather not poke DH with a quarterly category if I don't have to).

Thanks for the reminder. AGAIN.

I used Hyatt today as I'm working towards my bonus spend. Trying to use it primarily for restaurants, but I put a few other odds and ends on it as well.

IHG at the grocery store..2 points per dollar. Trying to meet my bonus spend, spent about 100 dollars! I love that this card is 2 points for grocery, gas, and restaurants. It's definitely a keeper!

AMEX ED has 3 swipes today. Coffee & a doughnut, groceries, and a few things at ACE. I think I need to spend $100-$200 more for the bonus and then I'm moving everything to my newly acquired Hyatt! (That I haven't even received yet )

Any necessary spend is going on the Discover because of double cashback. Freedom being used for gas. I need to remember to put the BoA Travel Rewards card back into use for anyplace that doesn't take Discover.

Chase Freedom at the gas station for my husband's car.

Today: Lowe's $71.00 for an on sale charcoal grill for my dad. I also used my dusted off Elder Beerman card (since I got the SP CLI of $10k) on a Keurig lol.

Several (including myself) were giving Lowe's love this weekend. I'm so thankful I was finally able to get this card and a nice CL last month.
