I checked credit pull database, but it has a very conflicting info-eq,ex and tu.. I live in NY, anyone has an idea?

If you are in New York, it will be an EX pull as that is what Amex pulls for the NY region.

EX, Both the AA cards you can apply for are backed by Citi.

As others said, Citi tends to pull EX in NY. I've seen double pulls before with EQ.

I think OP is asking about the Ticket Financing option offered by American Airlines which is separate from their Citi credit card offerings.

To first point this out Amex pulls EX almost everywhere I believe. I have been tripled pull with TU and EQ as well and I'm in ny.

to answer op it is a citi card and I've been pulled mostly by EQ for me

I'm in NY and they have never pulled my EX report

because major lenders generally pull. Ex at the time of application. Ex score has the highest "value"

Any lender may pull any of the three majors plus a minor bureau or two as well, this is permissible for granting or denial of credit.
