Why don't they allow you to ACH money from an outside checking account into money market accounts at NFCU? Can't be that hard to set up. I had to snail mail deposits took nearly 3 weeks to post to my account. Because of that I have gone with Penfed as far as depositing savings. Run that by your boss if you wouldn't mind.
