Does Barclay Rewards have a chip yet?

My Logix card does and so does cap one..but does barclay rewards?

Not yet.. Coming soon, probably within a few months. Most the Barclays cards are transitioning to chips over the next few months.

When it does come, it will unfortunately be chip and signature, not chip and PIN which is much more scure.

I just received my new Barclay Rewards chip card in the mail today. Appears to be chip and signature, not chip and PIN.

Yesterday I received a PIN for my barclay Ring card, even though their isn't a chip in the card. Swipe & PIN? lol

I hope the newer chip one wears in better, my Barclays Rewards card looks horrible after just 7 months of use. Seriously ugly and worn out looking, where my Discover and other cards look fine, Discover still looks like new actually.

I noticed on ck the Barclay rewards card look completely different. did they change the look of the card?

Yep! Just today when I logged into my Barclay account I noticed the new design is being advertised.

I saw the logo on my account when I logged in too. I relly like the white card,a nd they grey one with chip looks so plain. I guess I'll be getting a new one in th mail soon too, but I prefer the white card. So many credit cards are dull grey now.

I saw the logo on my Arrival acct when i logged in yesterday and noticed it had a chip this time. The no-AF Arrival never used to have one before.

I assume i would need to request a new card for them to mail me a new one.

I just received new chipped Rewards card yesterday.

I actually like the new design.

Activated and chose a PIN online...let's see if I can find a PIN-enabled terminal to see if it works lol.

The new design is pretty sweet. I added my sister as an AU and when it showed (I still have the old card) I was like **bleep**... this looks awesome!

My Barcays Rewards WMC will expire in Sept. I already received PIN for the card. I almost threw it away. I thought I didn't need it for getting cash. It will need for the chip and PIN use at the Chip terminal. It already showed the new card design on the account online.

How did you get a World MC? Mine's just a "Platinum". I use it for gas only... think they'll PC to Sallie Mae?

Ron, are you sure that your Barclay card will be chip and pin? I would guess it will be chip and signiture like every other U.S. Card and the pin would be for cash advances.
