Does cap 1 pull credit to add authorized user to the accound since it's asking for SS # ?

No they won't HP them but it will report to the AU credit reports.

As stated, they don't pull credit to add AU to an account.

As stated.but not like the days before the patriot act. They must obtain information from every person that has a social Security number. Im even shocked that amex does this since they have the global thing going on. Im not sure what to do because my wife is Non Resident Alien. before i could put NRA on the app. but now. its very strange. BoA is only ones that the social is not required. But other id is.

So if someone doesn't have a SS # can I request a second card and put that persons name on it.

Obviously it wont be a real AU as it won't be reporting.
