Barclays Rewards EMV Chip Card with Chip and PIN Is Confirmed!!!

I finally got the replacement Barcalys Rewards World MC with EMV today. It is a good looking card. It is chip and pin. It is not signature.

Is this by invitation only? I asked them to replace my rewards card with a chip card and this is what they sent me:

It is not an invitation. I didn't request it. My current card will expire in Sept. They sent me this card to replace my current card and PIN. I almost threw it away.

Hmm, it is interesting. It is available now. They didn't want to replace it because it cost them money to send you a new EMV card when it is not expired.

just say you lost your card... ithey'll send you a replacment for free imediately. I've done that and in no time i got my new shiney card

Hope I get that when my card expires The online photo for my card changed to the card you got a few weeks ago, so I should get it ina year and a half!

Nope not by invitation. I just got approved for this card on July 8. I got the old white card. I requested the new "shiny" one last week...should be here any day now.

My bad, yes I have the Sears MC not the Barclays Rewards MC - sorry for the confusion. The updated EMV design on the Sears MC was decent, but not as glitzy as this one!

I didnt know they have a "World" version. How do you get that version and do they have a WEMC version as well?

Yes, they have. I got approved thru pre-approval mailing few years ago.

I just checked the website and they don't have the World MC with the excellent credit.Now they only offer the Platinum with higher APR. (24.99%)

I think I have with 13.99% APR.
