I have had my capital one mastercard since the beginning of this month with a 500 cl and it has not been reported on any of my credit reports. Does anyone know how long it takes them to start reporting?

According to my credit reports, they report to the agencies on the 25th of every month (give or take a day). Give it another week and you'll see something I'm sure.

In general, most new credit cards do not show up until after they have generated the first statement plus how ever long it takes them to update that information with the Credit Agencies (usually a couple of business days).

Now, like you I got a new Capitol One CC at the beginning of this month. They generated my new statement on the 18th so the comment about it being updated on the 25th makes sense for this statement date. However, I have no intention of paying to find out since I've already paid for my credit report this month. My assumption is that it will be there when I check next month.

Okay, this card and my credit union card are the only one's not reporting and I have opened all other cards around the same time. Lowe's, Kirkland's, HSBC discover, Cabela's Club Visa, and Best Buy all reported before I even received my cards.

Just checked - Last month Cap1 updated on Aug 28 so you'll have to give them a few more days at least.
