What are the chances?

I recently had a Wamu Credit card closed for nonpayment, and my credit score went to 555. Since then, about 5 months I was able to get it to 650, what are my chances of getting another wamu mastercard?

i would call about reinstatement of the closed account not apply for new.

I tried that, they told me they wouldnt reinstate, but i would have to apply again once my credit was over 650.

Yep I completely paid it off. I really wish I never let it get so bad in the first place, I was not even thinking it was close to getting closed.

my personal feeling is banks are running scared right now from people who miss payments, they managed to get there account paid off once, i don't think they would risk it again right now by giving you another card.

I could totally be wrong, since your scores qualify you under normal circumstances but i just might take my hard inq. elsewhere.
