Do Signature Visas report credit limits?

Visa Signature is the visa that has "no pre-set spending limit", but it does have a "credit access line" which is the normal CL. You can exceed the CL as needed.

I have a Chase Marriott Signature Visa with a CL of $5000. Current balance is $142. Just checked EQ and saw the CL reported as the highest I ever had a balance on there ($2200). Are they pulling a capital one here? Or because it has no pre-set limit it just reports it as 0 like AMEX PIF?

No matter - I am paying off the small balance, putting the card in the sockdrawer, and enjoying the free room night and 20,000 marriott points.

I believe that the Visa Signatures and other no preset spending limit cards report the high balance, and the CRAs use this high balance as the credit limit.

I've heard they have credit limits but they allow and waive the orver-credit limit fee, they just add the overage to the minium payment just like they do when they charge the fee

I have a Bank of America Worldpoints Visa Signature with 18K CL and they do report to all 3 CRAs. I called in and made sure of that before converting back in April. I would call the bank you are interested in first and confirm this with them before applying or converting.

I have a BofA Alaska Signature Visa and they do not report the CL. I plan to make a change....
