Possibility of PC arrival+ to ring?

I have no use of this card even before the nerf, now I have to spend 5K to see redeemable "miles" make it a 100% gonner.
Called yesterday try to PC to ring, got a Indian rep ask his supervisor, the answer is I have to apply.
Did anyone ever successful PC to ring from arrival+ or anything else for that matter?
I believe most cards can be PC to rewards, I can PC to no fee arrival also, but I do not like either option.
What is best number to call? Back of my card or CA backdoor number?

The "Ring" is a different product than any of the other Barclaycard branded products and has different features, They do not PC into this card for a reason.

You can't always get everything you want. If you had no use for the Arrival+ why did you apply for it? You may have to chalk it up to a loss and close it if none of the available PC options interest you.

I don't know if PCing to the Ring is possible or not, but haven't heard of it happening much. The point is that you can't just decide a card is no longer useful for you and then get whatever other card you want with a lender with no HP. If this was able to be done with no restrictions, nobody would ever keep the more expensive AF cards etc. There has to be a line drawn somewhere to prevent people from willy nilly applying for cards and changing them around constantly. Each card has its own terms and conditions.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Point is, you can call the analysts and try again, but I would bet your only real options are the no fee Arrival or the Rewards MC. If neither interests you, then you close the card.

One should apply for cards they have purpose for. There is no shame in simply closing a card you don't need. I've closed 60+ accounts over the last 5 years.

According your theory, no PC should be allowed, you stick with whatever you applied, ever.
PC does exit for a reason.
If no one successful PC to ring ever, I just take a HP, and move CL over, no big deal, TU pull is cheap.

That's not what I said. I simply said that PC options are always limited so that cardholders can't just pick and choose whatever card they want.

What do you mean by "cheap"? Each HP has an opportunity cost to it.

Most Prime lenders like pull EX on me, so an extra pull on TU is not as big deal as EX, see my signature with pull details.

Can't do it. I tried to PC to Ring yesterday. I was given two options go into no af arrival or the rewards MasterCard. They did offer to lower my apr to 10.99 so I took that and stayed with the + for now. I still have time before the af hits next year.

My arrival AF is due Jan next year also, but I read somewhere, if you do not use your exiting Barclay card enough, it will lower your internal score, negative effecting your new application, whatever it will be a SM or ring.

Update:
Called again today, told PC is not an option,so I just applied for the ring,got 7-10 message, called CA immediately,told I was declined because of too much existing credit with Barclay, ask close my A+(10K) and aviator(5K),move the credit line over,the nice CA throw another 5K on it, approved for 20K.
Did any one get WMC or all ring are platinum?

Why are you people so negative? Maybe he HAD a use for the Arrival Plus at one time and no longer does. Everyone on this forum is so quick to judge. Worry about yourself and your own cards. He just asked a question. SMH....

OP, did you ask about PC'ing the Arrival Plus to the regular Arrival? It has no AF...

Anyway, doesnt matter. They found their answer and got the Ring. If the arrival+ was useless to them the no fee arrival wouldnt be any better.

Congrats on the approval although you had to move limits around to get it opened.. It is only offered in Platinum, this is partially how they keep the 8% apr, not much overhead.

I have more than enough reward/miles cards, see my signature, 2% card with AF has no place even in SD, a good low interest BT card make my profile better.

I only asked a legit question.
my credit journey include multiple PCs, including BOA, Chase, Cap1 and Barclay, since when just ask people's experience about PC to ring become ask marshmallow and lollipop?
I take "no" as an answer, still get what I want
