What is your trophy card(s)?

I think it's safe to say that we've all coveted one or two cards for some time. Some of us have applied and have been denied. So when we are finally approved there's a sense of having achieved some sort of "trophy." I thought it would be fun to share with our fellow myfico members which of our cards we consider our "trophy cards."

Mine are Chase Marriott and Barclays Ring. Which are yours?

That would be my Bank of America rewards card. Two years ago when I started this journey I could not even get approved for their secured card. Now I'm getting 5000 limits from them. That would be mine

Venture because it's the best I can do right now (rebuilding) for high limits and 2% redemption on my travel...and because KDM here on the forums LOVES it!

None in my signature... Issuer should be happy I use them IMHO .. They make money off me and I just get a cut of it!

Bank of America BBR, All 4 of them. I don't think I could get another one out of them If I tried but have heard of people getting 5 Alaska Air cards in the same month.

It's going to sound a bit ridiculous, but the Barclay Upromise that I just opened. I don't even have the card yet. But I have never been insta-approved for the lowest APR available on a card, ever. 13.99 isn't exactly "low" but it just made me feel special to get the lowest tier without months of APR reductions.

If I was to apply for this do I just have to have an EIN #? I am incorporated for 1099 purposes, but haven't used my company in a LONG time... What are the restrictions for applying for the Simplycash from amex? Do they use the term business loosely ? Sorry not meaning to side track this.

Not sure I'm coveting any cards, but a CSP would be nice. Along with the AMEX Everyday Preferred. I'd stop right there after those two.

Million Mile blogger got 5 in one day but they have since closed that ability

No you don't need an EIN. Just choose soLe proprietorship and use SSN. Amex is very easy to get a business card from

An Amex PRG. Always dreamed of getting an Amex. I haven't tried apping for it yet because I want my file/scores to be in top top shape when I pull the trigger.

Mise welll apply for the Total Rewards and let it age the same time as your other cards.. You have always wanted it, why not go for it... Not like it is a sin... You are already outside the garden, live a bit

You can use your SS number. That's what I did, even though I have a federal tax number. Restrictions are basically nil. They operate on, and approve based on personal credit. Go for it!

ETA: And they approved me for $10K right out of the gate. My highest limit!

Haha! I swear I get the pop-up every time I log onto the website. Every single time. And it only asks for last 4 of social, so you'd think it wouldn't be a HP but I am 99% sure it is.
