I added an AU last month. They mailed the card out, never got it. Called 2weeks ago, and they sent another one. Never got it. They verified the address which is correct. I called back today, they were very apologetic, and stated that it should have been delivered on August 15th. She stated she would rush the card, and I should have it by Friday. Let's hope it arrives.

She kept praising me for how I am handling the account. Already made a big payment, yet the payment isn't even due yet. She then tells me, she is giving me a $25 dollar statement credit for the hassle with the card delivery. Amex cs is the best I've dealt with so far. Including discover! 😊

So Amex screwed up three times by not sending you the card they promised to, and you call that good customer service? Weird definition of customer service you have there.

To me, sometimes customer service is more about how things are handled when stuff goes wrong, than when everything is perfect.
