How Many QuickSilvers Do You Have?

I have 3 cc's with Capital One: QS MC ($3500), QS VS ($5000) and VentureOne ($5000). The signature card was just converted from a 2 yr old Journey and the QS MC is an upgraded 3yr old Platinum card. I've been debating keeping them all or combining them and can't make up my mind. I chatted with CO the other day about the VentureOne (1 yr old) and possible upgrades/conversions and guess what the CSR offered me? That's right, another QuickSilver. I said no thanks, I'll keep what I have.

But it got me curious. I've seen several members here with 2,3, even 4 QuickSilvers in their signatures. It seems Capital One loves issuing these things.

So, I'm just curious. How many QuickSilvers do you have? And how in the world did it happen? Thanks.

I have 5 Quicksilvers. One used to be a VentureOne but I changed it to QS visa sig.

the three mastercards were starter capitalone plat mc's upgraded to quicksilver rewards in early 2014.

I have had 3 of those cards for almost 4 to 5 years. oldest cards on my credit report. My plan is to combine them yes. I am going to leave the oldest one open and combine 3 of the qs's into my qs visa signature. I just paid off all the balances on them, within the past week. System says I cant do it. Probably have to let the statements cut then it will let me im thinking.

lol well i didnt open them over nite. 2010 to 2013 those were the only cards i could get.

Thanks for the responses. I may well combine mine as well into the visa signature. Have to wait until next month though. All three are due for cli requests. Hope I can pad them a little before combining.

This is definitely a conservative group regarding capitalone accounts. Usually its the how many can you have thread, meaning there are more out there with at least 5 cards lol.

I have two; the QS1 MC is an old Orchard/HSBC account that was converted to Capital One, and is 8 years old. The QS Visa Sig. is fairly new, and I did a new app for it (I needed a larger credit line for utilization, and couldn't get an increase on the QS1).

One is certainly enough, and I'll likely combine mine in the spring if I can't get Cap One to do away with the AF on the QS1. The last few years, the best they've been able to do is waive half the fee, but it's still the old amount ($79) so waiving half just makes it so that mine is the same price as everybody else. Ironically, the QS1 MC is my card with the lowest APR, at 14.9%, so if they will get rid of the fee I really would like to hang on to it.

My 'plan B' is to wait until next Spring and app for the 'Platinum MC w/ no AF', which the pre-qual says I'm preapproved for at 15.9% (it has me for the Venture or another QS Visa at 17.9%). If I got the plat. MC at the lower APR, I could always have it converted later to a QS (and keep the low APR). Next year the last of my baddies drop off, so I might be able to get a rate even better than that (in which case, I'll most likely *certainly* get the new card, and roll the current ones into it).

There was a 'plan C' to app for a Venture for the higher credit limit and the sign-up bonus, but honestly I have enought exposure with Capital One and for my level of spending getting even more would be just silly (for me - I'm not judging others... LOL). I almost always PIF, so there's no need in getting a $20K credit line... the (almost) $10K combined I already have is plenty for me.
