for those of you with two quick silvers, QS1, Venture, or Venture ones, how did that happen? After you got the first one, did you cold app for another one or did you try the prequal site and that's what they recommended a second time even though you already have that same card?

I cold apped back to back. Received only 2HP's for the first card (venture), then like 5 min later cold apped for the QS. I did this combo twice 45 days apart, LOL.

Cold apped when I found out they were churnable, Closed one, kept the other.

actually 31 days, but I waited 45. There have been several people who have done it this way. I was preapproved for both the cards on the first round, and then on the second round I had no preapprovals, but did it anyway, LOL..App for Venture 1st though, then QS.

Ok cause I'm getting no prequals at the moment, not even for the platinum. What should my scores be to app for a venture. They have dropped due to a new lease and recent new card accounts

I only apply for a Cap1 card if there's a re approval showing. I would like another Spark card to combine in 6 months, but I'm not gonna push my luck

I received a snail mail offer for the Platinum card. That same month I applied for the QS MC. A year later (last night) I went on their website to do the soft pull approval. I was pre approved for QS1 and Venture. I took the QS1 only. Good luck!

I have never seen a pre-approval from Cap One. Got QS1 $3k last July, Venture $5k January, Venture $30k last month, all via cold app.
