Does anyone know if GE offers 0% APR on there PayPal Plus MasterCard. I have it and I want to know if any card holders know about there promotions. I can not find any information online. I was more interested in there finance option.

Paypal Extras? I doubt it.

I have an Ebay MasterCard, I have not seen such offers. A friend of mine has PayPal MasterCard and does not get those offers either. I think the zero percent apr is more geared towards their hidden tradeline card, not so much for the mastercard's.

Right, both the eBay and PayPal MC don't offer 0% financing currently, just the rewards/points promotions.

Usually there is no HP for a CLI for Synchrony cards.

I can say 100% if you call synch credit solutions and ask for a cli on your paypal mastercard, it will be a soft pull. I

As ddemari mentioned above, the CLI requests are SP. You may have a better outcome if you contact Credit Solutions than the automated line.

The reason why I ask is because care credit(issued by synchrony bank) cli request is a hp. Yea your right I had better success getting my Wal-Mart credit line increased through credit solutions rather than automated.

Typically is SP, for sure not 100% guarantee when it comes to such things, always be prepared for HP in connection w requests for credit to avoid unpleasant surprises.

This is correct for sure. Every single time i have called for Cli on automated system i was turned down. maybe once as i was going to hang up it said. we can't approve you for that but we can give you 1k increase in which i took it. next time will call Credit Solutions. This is the 2nd time ive heard someone call this paypal plus. Don't know where this is coming from. Took me canceling my Smart Connect last year and trying again to get the Paypal Extras MasterCard. I see some people have high limits. Mine is only 3k.

Ive never seen a 0% APR offer on the extras master card.

But I will say that the points rack up fast when using it for paypal purchases. They also send out offers like : "Spend at least $50 in one transaction and get $15 back, up to $30 back allowed"

They really do run good promotiosn to make up for the lack of 0% offers.

My limits is $5k and thats the perfect amount for the spend I put on it. I did have to call and ask for a CLI though.

I wasn't aware there were any 'perks' to this card at all, other than being connected to the user's PayPal account (which, ironically any card can be).

I don't need a high-interest general spend credit card from Synchrony, but if the perks are good enough, it might be worth a second look.

Yes, there are perks! They basically work out to be 2.5% cash back on gas and restauranuts, 1.67% at PP and eBay, and .83% on everyday purchases. You earn points for the purchases which can be redeemed for cash back or gift cards (I think, I don't know for certain because I always just redeem it for cash). Mine is really just used for restaurants, however I think I will be replacing that with my Voice card at 3%.

It's too bad they won't let you have the PayPal Extras Mastercard along with the PayPal Credit (BML)... that would truly be the best of both worlds.

I know you you're allowed to get a second PayPal account using another email, but I have serious history on my existing account, and wouldn't want to bother with keeping up with purchases across two. (For the record, right now I have neither credit product... yet)

Yeah, that's always an option... and supposedly PayPal is even 'OK' with a person having two accounts (but not more than two), so it's not like you have to work a 'loophole' to get both. I would think it would be prudent of them to just allow each person (email) to have both, though.

Right now I have neither, so my 'complaint' is a bit premature, but I really like using the PayPal app on my phone, and having multiple logins would be annoying especially since the push notifications would only work for one login or the other. I know I'm 'splitting hairs' here, though, so I'll keep my 'kvetching' to myself until I take the plunge and actually open one of the accounts... LOL
