Got rid of more balances

So I've paid off my Avant credit loan with a $2900 balance and a 35% interest rate, my Macy's card with a $1300 balance and my CSP with a $3900 balance (which never reported, thank goodness) and now I have about a $4K balance between my two Cap One cards that I'm gonna aggressively pay down until they're paid and just use my BofA card as my debit card until all my debt is gone. Not gonna be doing much travel since the school years back in, hopefully my AAdvantage card will rack up some nice miles by next summer since I pay my bills with it. Feels good to almost have that weight off my shoulders

OAN just found out I'm getting a raise from $36K to $40K so hopefully some CLIs will be in order soon

Thanks everyone! Anyone know how Chase is with CLIs? I know Amex and Citi are SPs but they want me to let some accounts age. CapOne is a SP but they want to see bigger payments. And BofA is a HP so I'll wait until some INQs age off my report. But I've nevr tried a CLI with Chase, my balance was too high lol

Chase will be a HP for any customer-initiated CLI requests. If you've recently opened several cards and have lots of inquiries, your CLI may not be that much (if approved). Plus, it would also depend on how long you've had the card amongst a few factors.

IMO Chase isn't worth wasting your time and a HP for a CLI, especially with recent accounts etc. Chase HPs for the request and has been known to give dinky increases.

Best bet it to give it at least 6 months of aging and no new accounts etc on your report, then try if you really want the increase.

Congrats, Icy! I've received soft pull CLIs from Chase, but they're rare, and Chase is pretty stingy with CLIs.
