AMEX Platinum 100K MR Points for 3K spend, available to all

BIG NEWS!

You can currently get 100K MR points for 3K spend with the intro offer for Amex Platinum! The offer is available to all but some work is required: if the offer doesn't pop up when you go the amex platinum website, open a private browsing window and try. If you get the standard 40K MR points, close private browsing window, open a new one and try again.

The annual fee of $450 is not waived, but you can get 2 x $200 travel reimbursements (one per calendar year). Your out of pocket costs will be $100.

This is a fantastic offer. I just jumped on it and I recommend you do too! These 100K offers are almost always targeted.

Q: Can I get this if I had an Amex Platinum in the past?

A: Not if you got a signup bonus. You will get the card, but not the bonus

Q: Can I get this if I have another Amex card?

A: Yes, as long as it is not the Platinum

Q: But the language says "If we Identify you as an Amex cardholder we may deny you the bonus"

A: Yes, I know, but that doesn't happen. People have verified this for the Platinum and other cards.

Someone reported restarting their computer did it, but likely you just need to try again. I had to reopen like ten times.

Remember - refreshing does not work. You need to close all private browsing sessions and open again

For the life of me its not allowing me to upload a photo: I went incognito on phone and recieved 100k offer with 1,000 spend but annual fee says 1200 pa. Is this for out of country?

You don't need a Mac. Safari runs on PC.

Well out of princpal i don't really like running bloated apple software on PCs. I have to run itunes to back up my mom's iphone thats already enough.

I honestly believe that apple makes inferior products for PC to force people to switch to OSX since its an superior product for the same software.

Got it to work on Safari as well. G/f applied and was approved. Wish I had been just as patient but these points will go well with mine and subsequent transfer to Avios.
