I LUV NFCU!!!!

Hi there,

Just became a member on Friday and immediately applied for loan to refinance my new car which had a 17.99% interest rate. Today I found out that I was approved at 6.75% by NFCU. I almost fainted because this drops my car payment $95/month. I knew I'd be approved, but I was expecting an interest rate of 8-10%. God is soooooo good!

To top it off I had applied for the nRewards VISA. Got the approval of $14k CL and began stuttering! LOL This is my highest CL and it's the highest CL I've ever had in my credit life.

I'm now waiting to hear whether or not I was also approved for the nRewards MC and NavChek. I should know something tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

Through the grace of God I found this board and other helpful boards to help me on this journey. Since May of this year I went from having only $300 in available credit to just a little over $30k with the addition of several prime credit cards with pretty decent limits.

I have already gone to the website and I am not eligible. Although I would like to be. Anyway I thought I read somewhere where they were letting regular people get in but that was not the case because I even called their customer service. So, I guess I won't get in.

is fantastic news! That's certainly a monumental improvement

over your initial $300 credit line. You should be very proud of yourself.

More good news: I was approved for the nRewards MC with a $14k CL! Wooo Hooo!

Now, I'm just waiting to hear about the NavChek LOC. God is soooo good!
