Penfed joint credit card? Can you add someone later down the line?

Thinking about applying for a joint Penfed credit card with DW but her credit score (710) is not as good as mine. (810).. So I am going to apply for myself first and then add her after?

1. Can I apply for a Penfed credit card just for myself, and then 1 month later, add DW as a joint..?

2. And how does it work? Do they send us out a form that we both sign and send back to them?

3. What about a joint Nasa credit card? Can I do the same? Add her after, if I am approved..

You could go joint or just add her as a AU..your choice. Basing it off just scores, her score seems more than high enough for PenFed.

When I applied for PenFed cards recently. the app said joinr or individual. I am not sure what they can do once the card is opened for an individual.

call them, they are nice to deal with on the phone.
