Anyone else get a postcard from them? Taking it out of sock drawer and using it till 9/30/2015. Dunno if there's a cap however.

i got one too. pretty nice. this card has way better rewards than advertised (if you need camping/hunting/outdoor gear that is)

i looked and saw nothing about a cap. the one they had 2 months ago definitely had a cap and it was easy to find on the postcard, so thinking this one won't

04Cobra, will have to check my mail but this sounds interesting. My Sportsman's Guide Visa is newer (about 45 days old), so I had a question. Can the points only be used to redeem at the Sportsman's Guide, or can they be redeemed for cash back or statement credit? Thanks.

Where are you seeing the 2X?

The card I received says, "5X points on all purchases outside Sportsman's Guide."

Don't have the card but upon reviewing the website it appears the points are only good towards Sportsman's Guide stuff (their catalog etc).

Thanks kdm! That is also my understanding of their card generally, but since I have not seen this offer yet did not know if the 5x could be applied to anything else with this specific offer.

the offer i got was 5% for gas and restaurants, 2% on everything else. and yeah, only good at sportsman's guide. if you're looking at buying a $300 tent like me, that's great. if not, not so great.

So, if finally received an email for this offer.

The card I received in the mail didn't mention anything about a cap. However, the fine print in the email says spending is capped at 2K. The fine print also says that all purchases must be made between March 1, 2015 and April 30, 2015. So, apparently the recycled part of an old email. I'm not sure this actually tells me anything.
