Cap One CLI Question

Hello everyone.. so i got a cap one card in march, i received a cli in may and now i'm done with the credit steps program and received another one this month.. i know you can request a cli every 6 months.. my question is since i just received a cli from the credit steps, do i need to wait 6 months from this month or from the cli that i requested in may?

Congrats on your CLI! You count 6 months from the last increase, which would be the credit steps one.

I hit the button on the 4th month $300-$800. On the 6th Statement this month $800-$1300. Talked to a rep on the phone today and used my customer service charm, she said wait 3 months and hit the button again. We shall see

I don't believe credit steps is factored into their 6-month rule, I'd give it a try and see if they bump you some more. Worst case scenario they say no, it's a SP so no inquiry

The credit steps CLI is factored into The 6 months . So you'll have to wait 6 months from your credit steps CLI . Of course there's always the odd exception that gets multiple cli's within 6 months . You can always call the EO and give it a shot.
