I received a letter from Comenity about Toyota Rewards Visa Signature .Comenity will take over Toyota Rewards Visa on October 11. Here is the letter:

Wow, wish I knew about this when I just bought my third Toyota! I put $3k that I was paying in cash on my CSP to get points, could have got 5% instead of 1% with this card plus all the accessories I buy :/ ... congrats tho!

I wasn't preapproved for the card, but was solicited to apply several times.

For Toyota parts and service, 5% in rewards is pretty sweet.

Wish my wife would have read the fine print about changing payment processing. Just discovered we are 2 payments past due (because our autopayment is no longer working).

Any suggestions on resolving?

Replying to my own post - called customer care, routed to collections, routed back to customer care after I started raising holy hell about any interest, penalties, and credit reporting . . . they fixed them all!

That's great that you got it resolved. Maybe their exception was due to the Toyota card recently being transferred, but the last time I dealt with Comenity they insisted that the past debt be paid and only then once the payment was posted would they credit the fees and penalties.

I'm confused about their debt/income ratio letter I received because they just issued a $16k Total Rewards card but won't budge on the Toyota Rewards. I tried an online CLI to see if perhaps the CSR captured the income information incorrectly. I won't be surprised if I receive a response that they don't process CLIs within (x) months of other requested CLIs. If I get that letter, at least I know how long this pathetic limit must last.

They took over The Lexus Card too. I got the Lexus Pursuits Visa Sig when I bought my car last year. If Toyota quals you for a car they will qual you for a CC at the same time

I got pre-approval for Toyota Rewards Visa many fears ago. I didn't get finance thru TFS.

I see what Comenity did! You shut down their store cards and they end up replacing the cards you had that they did not already finance for. Durn! Comenity is going to get inside your wallet one way or the other.
