Question on CLI Chat Synchrony

So a few days ago I went online to my Gap account and started up a chat with an online rep to request a cli. I asked for $4000 and they gave it to me. I immediately thought I should have asked for more. My question is, if i go back to chat and ask for another cli only a few days later will it be automaticlly denied because I just received an increase? Anybody have any experience with this one?

You certainly left money on the table. Go back and request $15k, they will counter with the highest limit they are willing to give you at this time. Good luck!

Update** I asked for $15,000 and they countered with $6000. That'll work. Thanks for your reply.
