I called Comenity Bank Today, and was able to reduce my APR from the standard 24.99% to 20.99 on the SG Visa. Tried for lower, but would not budge. Better than nothing.

I was going over my store accounts and would like nothing better then an APR reduction on my Overstock Card. (A whopping 26.99%)

I was asked recently by a Synchrony Rep when i closed BP Visa card after 4 months the reason and i simply told them i already left those subprime rates behind over a year ago and was not interested in that anymore.

While the SP CLI's is really nice on this one, i don't think Comenity does APR reductions on their store cards and AFAIK are written in stone.

Have you tried the same with any of them?

It's still nice to learn that Comenity's Banckcard division apparently DOES allow it from consumer requests.

Home Depot is even worse from what I hear at 25.99. Just brutal.
