Haven't heard of a limit yet but highest I've seen so far was about 21,000 on store card ....

after the recent combining, I read a couple people in the $26k+ range.

My partner and I have $24k right now

@9CLINE: That might have been my $21K you saw a few weeks ago that I posted on here. Since then I've had it bumped up to $24K. Just curious if anyone has brushed up against $30K or better yet?

I currently have $27k on mine. I was told by a rep that the max limit they can process on the front line is $24k and any request above that would require a supervisor's approval.

I tried for $30k and got shot down notwithstanding ending up with a wasted HP on EQ.

IDK what the maximum CL is for a Macy's store card, but I have seen some limits over 20k. How much of an increase do you need?

I don't need any more than the $24K I currently have--quite satisfied with it. Was asking just out of shear curiousity.

Just the Macy's store alone, not including Special Events and Major Purchase (prior to the combo) was $30K. This doesn't even include the AmEx (which was not combined with the other, thankfully).

I'm currently at $55K post-combined CLs. The account dates back several years ago though (Kauffman's, Lazarus and Marshall Field's were absorbed and so CLs were combined). AmEx is $25K. This doesn't even include Bloomingdales

My store CL is 25k, although ive seen 30k.

I dont know the max, but Its somewhere north of 50k. Mine is currently at 25k, but with the account combination, my mothers was put over 50k. Hope that helps a bit.
