Any New Info regarding Costco Amex - What is Amex planning to do with existing Costco Amex Customers?

Last I heard was few Costco Amex customers were getting offers for Blue Cash Card from Amex. But seemed this was not a permanent solution from Amex. Is there any new information as to what is Amex planning to do with their existing Costco Amex customer base?

They won't convert it to another product. They might pre-approve you for a new card, but it'll be considered a new TL as far as credit reporting goes, so goodbye history and, most importantly, goodbye original opening date (in other words, accounts opened for the sole purpose of getting a backdated Amex are hopelessy lost)
